  • 1/2 Cup browned butter, cooled

  • 2/3 Cup Brown Sugar or Maple syrup

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract or 1 tsp Vanilla paste (I also love to add a dash of almond extract if you have it)

  • 2 cups of blanched almond flour or coconut flour (coconut flour is my fav)

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • Dark Chocolate chips -- the amound is up to you!


Step 1

brown butter on the stovetop and let cool.

Step 2

Cream browned butter and brown sugar together with mixer. Then add in beaten egg, vanilla extract. Mix well.

Step 3

Add all dry ingredient to a seperate bowl and mix (flour, baking soda, sea salt)

Step 4

Once dry ingredients and wet ingredients are mix seperately, add them both to a large both and mix well. After dough is formed, add in chocolate chips. Seperate in to 8 even balls. Add to baking sheet (with parchment paper) and bake at 350 Degrees for 8 minutes.
